How LetsMap Works

Track what you expect. Compare it to what happens. See your accuracy over time.

The Process

1

Write what you expect

Describe what you think will happen. Rate your confidence from 1 (very unlikely) to 5 (very likely).

2

Wait for the outcome

Hours, days, or weeks later โ€” whenever the result becomes clear.

3

Record what happened

Rate how it landed: 1 (did not occur) to 5 (fully occurred). LetsMap compares it to your original confidence.

4

See the pattern

Over time, you see where you overestimate, underestimate, or call it right.

The Calculations

The metrics used, transparently. No hidden algorithms.

// Calibration delta (per expectation)
delta = outcome_rating - confidence

// Overall calibration
avg_delta = sum(all deltas) / count(expectations)

// Calibrated = outcome within ยฑ1 of confidence
calibrated_count = count where |delta| ≤ 1
score = round((calibrated_count / total) ร— 100)

// Pattern (based on avg_delta direction)
if avg_delta ≤ -0.5: "overconfident"
if avg_delta ≥ 0.5: "underconfident"
else: "calibrated"

That's it. We don't use machine learning, neural networks, or any AI. Just arithmetic on your own data.

What We Track

Confidence vs Outcome

How often your confidence rating matches the actual outcome.

By Category

Work, money, health, personal โ€” your accuracy may differ by topic. The data shows where.

By Confidence Level

When you rate "very likely" โ€” how often does it occur? When you say "unlikely" โ€” are you underselling yourself?

Over Time

Calibration percentage tracked over time. Trend signals appear at 20+ outcomes.

What We Don't Do

LetsMap does NOT:

  • Predict outcomes โ€” We don't tell you what will happen
  • Give advice โ€” We show your numbers, you decide what they mean
  • Use AI โ€” No neural networks, no algorithms. Just arithmetic on your data
  • Coach or motivate โ€” This is a tracking tool, not a self-help app
  • Sell your data โ€” Your expectations stay private. We make money from subscriptions

Why This Matters

You already form expectations every day โ€” about work, money, relationships. But you probably don't track how often you're right.

LetsMap gives you the data. After enough outcomes, you'll know: which topics you're accurate on, where you overestimate, and whether you're getting better or worse over time.

Your Data

You Own It

We Don't Sell It

No advertisers, no data brokers. We make money from subscriptions, not your information.

Start tracking

Your first calibration score appears after 3 outcomes. Pattern signals strengthen around 15–20.
